For as long as I can remember, my grandfather's backyard has always been home to bright red, juicy pomegranates. Some of my earliest memories involve picking these interesting fruits and picking out the seeds.
The other day, he brought over a baby! A baby pomegranate plant that is! :) I did some researching, and learned that pomegranate shrubs can grow to be 20 - 30 feet tall!! They are adaptable to areas with cool winters and hot summers (perfect!), and usually begin producing fruit after 3 years.
Cool winters and hot summers... now I want a pomegranate bush!
